There were were videos of Gio skating on his own at the Dome, so he really is on the ice. Herald reporting same that he is going to travel with team & they usually dont do that if unless there's a good chance he'll play. Hamonic is just out,so we're fcking toast on trading him.

Well, probably a few scenarios where it would make some sense - not for any kind of rental though.

The thing about him I most like is that he's out to prove everyone wrong all the time. They had an interview with him from the poker game talking about being passed in the draft once and how it pissed him off and made him better, then getting picked late was more fuel...

Does anyone think that maybe Bennett is being showcased as a Centre for a possible trade this year? I know Ryan is hurt but between Lindholm, Monahan, Backlund, Jankowski they should have been able to back fill with guys that have been playing that position all season. Bennett has been on the wing for like 2 full seasons.

Actually I thought that 3rd line with Bennett as centre has been pretty good. Just seems a bit weird.
