Does anyone think that maybe Bennett is being showcased as a Centre for a possible trade this year? I know Ryan is hurt but between Lindholm, Monahan, Backlund, Jankowski they should have been able to back fill with guys that have been playing that position all season. Bennett has been on the wing for like 2 full seasons.

Actually I thought that 3rd line with Bennett as centre has been pretty good. Just seems a bit weird.

Oh I totally agree with you. Return would have to be HUGE! He’s a big part of this team but he’s also 30 making big dough and if you can turn that into something that makes this team better then why not? I’m not saying trade him for a rental that would be insane. He’s not untouchable is all. Tkachuk is the only one in that category.

For the right hockey trade I would trade anyone not wearing number 19 to better balance our roster.

Either sign Brodie to a team friendly deal or trade him. Same goes for Hamonic. The return these d are getting, it makes no sense to not.
This team needs a kick in the a$$ so badly! What’s the sense of losing 1 or both for nothing to go one and done in the playoffs?

Dumba was in the top 20 for points last year til he got hurt. Watched him play for the Winterhawks for many years. Guys plays with an edge, has an offensive upside, and is signed to a fair contract. Plus he’s from Cowtown.
