Subban to the Leafs would be good, however with a $9mil cap hit who would Toronto have to give up? Tavares is @ $11mil and I don't think any team would risk that. Nylander and Kapanen would free up just above $10mil. Go for it Dubas, live on the edge! |

Ristolainen has been linked with the Leafs, Doubt Armstrong has any interest in him after getting Marco Scandella. - LoveMyWings58
Risto & Hutton for Faulk & Allen. Seems like the sort of Blues robbing Sabres type of trade Buffalo loves. |

no way in hell Risto gets traded to the leafs without a #2 center coming back. but then again it is Botts, so it will be Risto for a handful of Magic beans - hehateme
I thought Dylan Cozens was your future #2C or am i missing something here. |

Did you just suggest a Tavares for Subban trade? You're living in the past buddy |

Buffalo got burned on the last trade w/St Louis...be cautious about ANY trade involving these two teams...
That being said, I can confirm myself that the teams have spoken...to what degree, it is unconfirmed.
Also, hearing that yes...yes Reinhart could be moved.
Buffalo looking to move big, and you have to give up value to get value back.
Reminds me of the time when Pierre Turgeon was moved for Pat LaFontaine, and other pieces of course....this is the 'type' of big move I am hearing from my people. |

Nah, I'm the seventh that has followed the site for comedic purpose since about 2007. Never cared to sign up until I saw my shot at a "first"
Probably will go back to reading the feuds in the comments section for the next 13 years rather than posting anymore
Maybe I will call Ek from a spoofed russian number at 3am sometime soon. we'll see... - Willverine
I'm the 8th, just here to rubberneck, but there are a few knowledgable/reasonable hockey fans here. |

Dater is reporting that Bergy is hot after Graves!!
- Komisaurus Rex
dater is as much of a reliable source for legit hockey information as this place is; you can be about 99.9999% certain what he “reports” will never come to fruition. he’s a washed up hack and the fact he still works for the denver post is obscene.
there’s ZERO chance graves, newhook, or byram are moved for anyone currently on the market. graves’ development into a top pairing d-man on one of the highest scoring bluelines in the league, and a guy who’s been on top of the plus-minus numbers for basically the entire season, not to mention his chemistry with makar and getting paid basically the league minimum — yah, makes a TON of sense that sakic would move him. totally.
newhook had a slow start to his college season, but has been an absolute wrecking ball of offensive production since then; he’s going to win the award for best college freshman, and it was just reported that sakic has had multiple meetings with him, keeping track of his progress closely, and fully intends on seeing how the rest of his season goes- potentially bringing him in as soon as next season (personally, i think he’d greatly benefit from one more year in college— Jost had a very similar path, we brought him up too early, and he went from “potential 2c of the future” to a guy who puts up great advanced stats but for the life of him can’t put up any actual numbers- his production sucks, and at this point i’d DEF use him as trade bait if anyone is actually interested).
as for byram, sakic has made it extremely clear on multiple occasions he’s a non-starter when it comes to trade negotiations. he can’t be touched and won’t be moved.
...hope all you want, i guarantee you those three guys are going nowhere. |

Pietrangelo, Parayko, and Ristolainen on the right side for St. Louis would be terrifying. I'd imagine one of those three would potentially play on the left side to balance out a top four with J-Bo being brought back to life not that long ago. |
