They are playing well. However, i’m not sure if Pittsburg is bringing there ‘A’ game... have they even had a quality scoring chance?
Whatever, we will take it! - Hockey_Reverend
Definitely not PIT's A game, that's for sure. PIT is 22-5-4 at home. They're tough to beat in their ice shack |

I love Muzzin. Sign him and give him all the monies. - Steven_Seagull
I haven't really understood the Muzzin criticism. 35 pts. in 80 games, +20 and is one of the very few players with any physical edge. |

See what happens when he tries to freeze it though?
With his history of injuries and Leafs soft D, he ends up in dog piles.
Maybe that's what makes him more hesitant to freeze the puck like that. - JohnFergusonJr
That is 100% on the bullpoop refs in this league, and the league's overall mandate to not protect goalies.
How is a defenseman - of ANY size - going to stop that poop from Hornqvist?

Andersen is not gritty enough to earn the call.
You have to show the refs you are working hard to earn PP's.

I am sure they have some proof.
It would be good if someone could analyze all his shifts in 2020, write a dissertation on the subject and prove the NHL numbers are wrong.

I just looked at some highlights and he didn't deserve 7.5 of those goals.
Sorry I have to prove you wrong. He now has 39.5 goals |

I'm starting think the Leafs should just say "(frank) it" and start playing dirtier. It seems to me the refs usually keep the calls fairly even, regardless of whether one team deserves more penalties.
So if you play dirtier, they call a few and just ignore a lot so they don't give too many pp's to one team. So the dirtier team gets away with more, while they call every little thing on the cleaner team to keep things fairly balanced.
The dirty team then gets labelled as a defensive team somehow since they clutch and grab their way to victory on occasion. |

Does your sarcasm count as proving the NHL wrong about his 2020 Sv%?
Just trying to see if I can figure out what you mean by "proof", and then perhaps let you know a more appropriate word to use. I'm a helpful guy like that. - Aetherial
You know what's cute about you looking only at the surface layer SV% and nothing further? If Andersen starts the 3rd with a weak goal against that is 100% his fault, his SV% will still be .956 but you'll say he let in a weak goal rather than look at the SV%.
Stop being a child. Look at the goals on a goal by goal basis and realize the truth. He's not the problem. |

It's hockey. Players have always (at least they use to) prided themselves on protecting themselves and each other. The old term was "players policing themselves". |

If they are no longer allowed to do that anymore, then it's up to the refs to start. |
