That's funny. I knew my kid didn't care for hockey when he was six.

We put him in - at his request (and after a couple of years of skating, so he didn't go in cold, but skating lessons are a far cry from playing hockey as I'm sure you know). They rotated goalie, and when it was his turn I took him out with the gear on, and taught him how to get down and get up. Some rudimentary things like poke checks, and so on. It turns out that at 6, being able to scramble and poke check makes you a darn good goalie.

He didn't care at all.

Three games later, when he was back out, he scored the game winning goal with 1 minute left. He didn't even celebrate.

On the car ride him, I was trying to pump his tires and you could see the, "Who cares?" written all over him.

Broke my heart. Now he plays soccer. SOCCER.

when the leafs were in AZ, we hung out the hotel so my kids could get some pic/autographs before the game.

there is a dave & busters across the street from their hotel. we were joking we should have gone there the night before to find them.

If the Sens are willing to trade Bracco for Namestikov I’d do it.

It’ll give the leafs some breathing room on being able to trade a forward with term for a D.

And Namestikov will help the Leafs meh PK. And hopefully re signing him.

I don’t think I’d trade a good pick for him but if the are interested in Bracco....sure.

They're doing NOTHING though.

I get people think Freddy saves the Leafs every win and carries them. No statistical evidence backs this up. The Leafs great offensive firepower pads his win totals despite bad save %
