Matthews is 2 years younger then Draisatl, and if you look at their stats from the comparitive years, Matthews has been better really. Right now, its close, and Draisaitl has put up more points, but Matthews is going to be a better player who doesnt play with the best player on the planet.

I’d say they’re on pretty even trajectory right now, Marner had 69 points his second year which is where you’ll probably see Pettersson in his second year. I don’t know if I could choose which one is better but they’re both great players.
