Elliotte Friedman says on WGR550 this morning that he would be shocked if Toronto traded for Ristolainen. Mentions the way the Toronto front office works, the Flames analytics guy talking the Flames out of Risto a few years ago. Anyone would do anything if the price is low enough

Kessel had a 3 year period where his 3-year pts. total was near the top of the league. At sone point Kessel and JVR was the best duo in the league.

Winning games matters. Personal stats don't matter, particularly when, as the best and highest paid players, you are not setting the standards for defense, work ethic, adherence to systems etc.
