I think I'd prefer Staal at 50% retained if we're looking at big 3C. More gas left in the tank and actually won a Cup. Can play up in the line-up if somebody gets hurt and still scores goals. Has 1 more year on the contract so he can help next year when they might have a better chance than this year.
