I'd personally rather cheap out at 3C (Engvall or similar) and chuck the money at something long term on the blueline.

We've been avoiding an actual blueline solution for to long, it has to take priority over issues deeper down in the lineup.

Leafs need help on the blueline forsure but they definitely need some more depth in the Center position. I’m sure they are looking at both for the trade deadline.
