Loui used Easton for for his entire career and then went under when he moved to the Canucks. Given how finicky players are with gear, it wouldn't surprise me if that has had a small impact on his offense. He's missed some real gimme's in his tenure

The game's gotten faster and he's clearly lost a step plus all his confidence along with it.

Last few years have to have been tough on him mentally. A little time in the SHL to wrap up his career might be just what he needs.

I didn't say it was structured wrong, I said if a team mutually terminated a contract after paying a bonus, I believe the league would consider it circumvention.

The rules around circumvention are very generic and leave the league a lot of room to apply penalties if they feel it is occurring.

I think as long as its mutual, they might be fine. I did consider the Mike Richards situation, LA got hit with a termination fee as punishment but I can't remember what they were being punished for (in addition to recapture but that was related to the 12-year deal)

Wasn't he epic playmaker last season playing with Horvat. Why not try that again. Anything can be better than LE with Horvat bringing him down.

thats a great trade by Vegas. Eakin sucks. Getting a 4th or 3rd and shedding 3.85 is a massive win for them. I think Vegas is going to make another big trade before the TDL as well

Probably a 3rd since that will help the Jets make the playoffs to knock out Vancouver in the first round.

Vegas can waste a bit more, they are overrated anyways.
