It was three years ago next week that JB traded Burrows for J Dahlen and Hansen for Goldobin. Such euphoria in here. Two can't miss prospects stolen for only a couple of washed up veterans fans couldn't wait to be rid of. Lauded as JB's finest work to that point.
Sadly, it seems not every young guy makes it. - YeOldTimer
People idea of who will and won't make the NHL is pretty ridiculous to say the least. Probably the same people that think loading up on draft picks is going to automatically produce an insane amount of NHL talent; immediately as well.
The single odd gem every year that does much better than their draft slot will be that teams draft picks in the lower rounds. |

Friedman reported the Utica threat. The gentleman agreement is my theory. My theory’s are usually correct - CanuckDon
I really don't know why he's still in the line up. He's not helping, he's not doing anything. They are lesser thanks to him.
He provides nothing to that line unless he is producing. They aren't better defensively with him. |

First and second round selections are a GM's livelihood, the Gaudette's and Rafferty's are the pudding on top. That's why I'm pissed with Benji, because he's been so good with the high picks (even Virtsey has a place on this team) that giving them away is madness. |

Travis Green disagrees, and that's good enough for me. |

Figures, Travis Green couldn’t organize a piss up in a brewery, let alone organize an NHL roster. |

Me too I know a lot of the musicians there myself. Won't name drop in this thread. |

I don't get the love for Stecher. He is undersized . More arrogant than Pacific Gem. He can't hit the net if his life depended on it and is overpaid. |

According to Bob McKenzie, the #Canucks have been talking to the #Leafs about Dman Tyson Barrie. Mentioned Troy Stecher as a piece that could go back the other way Eyes

I don't think we need the playoffs to show us how soft Stecher really is. - Codes1087
Stechers a pillow biter.
Sorry D-bot |

We really have no idea how soft this team is, playoffs should give us all a good idea of what needs to be fixed. - A_SteamingLombardi
I think they know and are trying to fix it now |

Was more convinced of this after the Toffoli deal was made that JB knew he would be clearing cap space with LE cut to sign TT and Marky too.
Tanev maybe with Sven buy out and Stecher trade. That leaves cap increase to fit in the rest of the RFA raises. |
