If the Habs played like they did tonight all season, we wouldn't be talking about yet another playoffs less season...

based on rumors and intuition I am starting to see a path to the future for the canadiens. petry, Thompson kovalchuk + a 2nd to Colorado for graves. domi to Minnesota for dumba. d is rebuilt. 1st line for the habs stays intact. 2nd line Suzuki, armia Drouin. 3rd line kk, Byron, Poehling. 4th line TBD. bergevin is a master of 3rd and 4th liners so filling in the blanks is in his wheelhouse.

why not?

Colorado is not trading a 1st pair defenseman while being in a cup run.

Bergy needs to make Carolina pay out the ass for Petry, they need to replace Hamilton, Petry is the best option who could be available on the market

Fine!!

Habs grab Dumba for Domi first....

Then trade Petry, Lehkonen & Chicago's 2nd for Fleury, Suzuki & Toronto's 1st!

All good?

Colorado isn't trading a rookie 1st pair dman who has 8 goals, 16 assists and averages 18 mins TOI for petry who has 9 goals, 28 assists, averages almost 24 minutes TOI? petry who had 13 goals, 33 assists last season? petry who would be a mentor to makar and would give a Stanley cup contender/hopeful a much better and more stable chance than a rookie "1st pair dman"? petry who is also signed through next season and gives the avalanche a much better shot at cup this year and next especially with kadri and rantanen back either this season or next?

your dumb reactive comment is based on thinking out of your ass and not your head. I guess that's why you call yourself dead.

Petry plays on the right side. Graves on the left.

Thanks for playing but you lose. That's what you do, being a loser.

1 is a young stud and only getting better. The other other is a career failure... similar to you being a life loser.

Petry a mentor on what to do when you miss the playoffs year after year?

I think the best way is still to ignore him, but I had to anwser that one.

I find that more you are arrogant as a person, the more you tend to be ignorant.

my "proposal" was dumba for domi and petry, Thompson, kovalchuk and a 2nd for graves which makes the avalanche way more legit than they are right now. and there's your left, right 2nd pair dmen for the habs long term.

being a loser around someone like you is an upgrade so thanks for the compliment.

Your two trades make both minnesota and colorado worse. Not just the teams but the states too.

if the avalanche really consider themselves a "cup contender" they will not win with 2 rookie 1st pair dmen. 3 pieces I proposed give them better shot at winning in my opinion. if you think they should stay the course with makar and graves as their top pairing and with kadri and rantanen questionable this season, as a fan of the avalanche I only offer my own opinion from the outside. que serra serra.
