Kovy is not worth much imo, expect something different if exchange for an asset. Bergy will be lucky to get more than a 3rd or 4th for him. Lehkonen sitting last night might more what's in line to get Jost if that's who they are targeting.

Lehkonen would not replace the players they lost in the last few days. Not enough firepower.

If you are going for the cup, you might as well take a gamble with Kovalchuk.I could see him score some big goals here and there on a cup run. Lehkonen, not so much.

You guys really think Kovy will fetch LESS then that? Wake up. He’s worth more then a 2th with the market now. He’s producing less but he has less time and has pass from 1st line to 3rd line because Tatar/Gallagher came back.

We have enough picks at this point (though we never have enough 1st or 2nd rounders!).... we won't even be able to sign them all because of the contract limit.

I do believe Lehkonen could be trade. He’s a 25pts/year producer.

Is it with Colorado? Not that sure. I don’t see MB trading for a guy like Jost, another center. Maybe Kraut? Anyway, I believe Colorado would more likely target an offensive player then a defensive player. Maybe Thompson which would be an upgrade over Jost on the 4th but MB wouldn’t be scouting TWO Colorado games for a small trade. He’s probably targeting a Graves, Zadorov or Girard knowing our LD are pretty bad.
So Drouin / Domi / Tatar are probably the targets.
Could see a kulak/Mete to be part of a huge trade to replace the LD lost.
