i always thought Jacques Martin got a raw deal. he squeezed everything he could out of his teams, made the palyoffs in both of his full seasons as coach, and was fired 2 months into his third season when the team was still in playoff contention and things then went to hell under Randy Cunneyworth.

The results weren't bad but god that was the most boring hockey I've ever seen

Etienne, I did not report Carolina made the offer. I reported that I believe they would be willing to pay that price. But to date and to my knowledge, the Canes have not made the offer. They really like Petry but know that Montreal doesn’t want to move him
