Send them pics of Maatta holding his stick RH. Murphy's contract is a steal at this point. Look at who he has been saddled with as partners and its amazing he isn't the leader for the Green Jacket - Elbows15
OMG NO! Stan blew it worst trade ever he should have kept Hammer..."Red Font."

Gustafsson not traveling with team due to “precautionary reasons” whatever that means.
Carlsson recalled from Rockford. - AEL_Fox

I’m told the Blackhawks have several offers on the table for Gustafsson. Not sure what kind of offers they’ve received but I thought I would pass it along. |

The Blackhawks, defensively..ahem
In the last 32 games, Blackhawks have given up zero goals, zero times.
They have given up ONE goal, THREE times, and one of those games was last night against the Predators. Even though they gave up a WHOPPING 43 shots, it was only one goal against. Vintage Crawford and NO GUS...hmmmm...it appears Gus will be gone by the deadline. Hurry up Stan. I am realistically expecting a 2nd round pick in return, but there could be other pieces involved, hopefully including the Blackhawks taking on an expiring contract and a decent forward prospect. |

I honestly don't think they are trading Urho Vaakanainen who plays three zones and has decent size, and strength. - wiz1901
Then I wouldn't trade Saad to Boston. He would have to be part of any deal with Boston for me. |

Hawks letting other teams know that there are more than one bidder, so bring up the bids. |

It means we have seen the last of Gus as a Hawk. I am in the minority that doesn't believe Gus is as bad defensively as most. IMO, Gus' problem is his 3 or 4 WTF moments he has every game. He seems to lose concentration/focus and does something that leaves you wondering WTF is he thinking. |

Imo Stan always knew Gus wouldn't be on this team come 2020-2021 season and last summer Gus stock was at a all time high and the return would have been a lot better. |

Agreed. Plenty of pizzas and plenty of times he seems to do the right thing reasonably well.
I'm good with him leaving, but how long until the board whines that Stan shoulda kept him? |

I'm not advocating trading him unless the return is just too good to turn down. I think he has more value than Saad does just because he can play in a good team's Top 4.
Carolina, Toronto, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Florida all could use him for a playoff run. - RickJ
i think so...if he goes that suggests to me the flood gates are open to a complete rebuild...and more than a few years of bad hockey... |

I think by Monday most of us will be able to figure it out. Obviously I don't need a written document to be able to figure it out.

And had Bowman traded Gus last summer thinning out an already thin blue line you’d be first to complain Bowman traded a defenseman when he already had so few. |

yep he is not chronically bad but acutely bad and that bad turns out to be costly and behind crow or lehner |

yeah and he had very poor 6-7 game stretch where he got 1 win right before that. - bogiedoc
Yes he did, but he did not point any fingers, he’s a winner. I’m going to respectfully disagree with the pro Lehner fan club. Lehner is not what I would look for in a team player, I just don’t like him, does not like to be accountable. |

He’s got the blind, backhand pass, from behind the net, down to a science. Puts it on an opponent’s stick every time. |

yeah so crow is different than lehner and rarely giving his assessment of poor play...ya know the guys always played great and blocked alota shots yadda yadda...he says that after they get ripped...lehner goes both ways and he does accept he own failures..
kinda like "I suck at shootouts" is that throwing his mates under the bus?
from what the beat writers say lehenr is well liked and respected by his hawks team mates..
i think this criticism is way over stated...

Yes, but unfortunately those WTF moments are mostly in the defensive zone. |

Gus plays defence in his own zone like any guy does in a closely officiated 65+ beer league where any body contact gets 2 minutes in the box.
And as far as his WTF moments, there are times Bowman when should have put him on LTIR and listed ADD as the injury justification. |
