If it were possible to move Skjei and Trouba I would. I like what Trouba brings to the team but he isn't worth 8M already. Would love to see CK20 stay but unfortunately not at Kevin Hayes money. Anything under $7M per and I think the Rangers have to figure out how to keep him. The real roll of the dice is that if Kreider is moved whatever they get for him has to be a hit.

Yes these kids are young and will improve but unless a few of them pull a Pastrnak/Kucherov and go from scoring 20pts to 30 goals over the next 2 years this team will be hamstrung in mediocre land. You need good players on cheap contracts like TDA is now to go along with top talent to win. Otherwise, everyone finally gets it together when it is time to get paid (Kreider/Miller) and you can't afford to keep all of the pieces in tact.

Can't really happen unless CK plays RW. They really need bottom 6 scoring. Top 2 lines can score in bunches but the bottom 6 is Lars and a bunch of JAG's. JAG core is led by Senor Hagelin, el primero manos de piedra!

Remember when we would trade a 1st round pick every year, or hand out a big contract every offseason to a UFA RHD to quarterback the PP? Well we finally found that player, after Yandle, Boyle, Shattenkirk, etc. and now people want to trade him.

Out of the 4, he is the only one that really brings a hard charging skating style that can generate offense. His skill set is unique to the entire team, RHD or LHD. Maybe Miller or Jones get there but that's years away. He's not getting traded unless he curses out JD or something bad happens off ice. Even then ... I'd try and work it out.
