Better team overall and look who they're missing.

I thought the 4th line looked decent in this game. Almost made 10 minutes haha. I think this is how a 7 game series is going to go. Tight games, back and forth. Considering pitt is missing 2 of their top 3 dmen and a 4th line I thought they did well. Controlled a lot of the game. I am starting to develop a strong bias against Petterson though which has me noticing him for everything he does wrong lately.

Murray is incapable of keeping this team in tight games right now. On the Oshie goal he fumbles his rebound control like always this season then somehow gets turned around in the net. He could have just laid down.

Did he lose the game for the team, no. But he search as sh!t didn’t give the team a chance to win it.

Anyone who thinks the team is confident in front of Murray just needs to watch how much the defense backs off in the neutral zone when Murray is in the crease. They play far more aggressive with Jarry in there because Jarry can put a rebound to the corners most of the time instead of creating a dead puck scramble in the slot like Murray does on every damn shot.

Pens were by far the better team today with a skeleton D and just didn't win. I mean, they're only going to acquire maybe one or two guys, if at all. So who are they getting to tip the scales so to speak?

Today shows the Caps big defenseman be exposed with the Pens speed game. With better guys back on D the transition will be even better and faster.
