Maybe he doesn't fit the Leafs but his lack of defence would not be a deterrent for potential suitors who lack a true PP QB. He's one of the most gifted offensive d-men in the league and there are plenty of teams interested in acquiring him.

Kerfoot hasn't played the entire year with JT, but nice try.

I have no issue with Bracco being part of the deal, and he may never be an NHL player, but throwing him in ADDITION to Kerfoot would be (frank)ing atrocious.

Josh Manson is in decline. He's a nice piece for the Leafs because he adds size and grit... but he's not worth Barrie, Kerfoot, and Bracco, "bud".

A series? Maybe. If they get lucky. But as we saw last year, the upsets came from strong defensive, hard working teams. It was the offensive first teams that choked.

But the goal is the Cup. Not going to happen with a "last goal wins" strategy.

Yeah. Point should be obvious. Boston plays better two-way hockey and Tampa Bay wins an offensive war. Either way, Leafs are screwed if they don't focus more on defense and less on trying to win every game 5-4.

And that's just to get out of the division. That doesn't even deal with the fact you still have to beat the Metro winner and the Western Conference winner, both of which will provide an equal or greater opponent.
