Yeah. Point should be obvious. Boston plays better two-way hockey and Tampa Bay wins an offensive war. Either way, Leafs are screwed if they don't focus more on defense and less on trying to win every game 5-4.

And that's just to get out of the division. That doesn't even deal with the fact you still have to beat the Metro winner and the Western Conference winner, both of which will provide an equal or greater opponent.

Anyone sitting out tonight? I think if Barrie plays, chances are he's not close to being in a trade. No way you would risk an injury to a UFA this late in the season if something worth while was on the table. Injury, out for season, walks for nothing would (frank)ing suck...

Every team wins differently and there is no formula for success. Boston plays their game well and so does Tampa and although they're completely different styles, they're both equally as effective because they have the right personnel for that style. The Leafs would never win anything trying to play like Boston.
