they were competing with eachother on who can fall on the ice the best and make the best highlight reel puck giveaway or turnover. also who can get the puck picked clean the best and best overall pass intercepted. then there was best overall non shot that should have been an actual shot and who can not hustle or least hardest worker.

Canes took 16 1st period shots. 21 shots in the 2nd. 47 total. That's a joke.

Andersen made a huge goal line, difficult save. You know, the type of save you said he doesn't make. Allowed 0 goals after a barrage in the 1st period.

1st goal, makes multiple saves, Barrie and Sandin can't clear the front of the net of players or of the puck. Not on Andersen.

2nd goal, screened on the PK

3rd goal, lost the FO, bad coverage by Barrie and Sandin again.

4th goal, Dermott can't lift a stick

5th goal, giveaway by Muzzin, nobody recovers

6th goal, giveaway by Sandin, Barrie up the middle on a backhand clear.

Carolina just proved you can win the second half of a back-to-back with a beer league hockey goalie if you play well enough in front of him but in Toronto, of course, blame the goalie even when you get outshot 2-1.
