Story goes some Leafs scout saw him score 39 points in a single game and they just couldn't pass on him at the draft.

One of the unluckiest Leafs picks / prospects / players ever in terms of injuries.

Barrie is a pending UFA that can't play defense for poop.

Bracco is an undersized prospect who might not ever make the NHL.

Kerfoot has 8 goals playing with Tavares at 3+ million AAV.

Nope, but what it would cost for a big RD with a good AAV and term...if we were lucky. And I would do it all day...but try to keep Kerfoot because we don't really have a replacement for 3C.

Bracco...we have too many of, and with Gullsy's boy Nick tearing it up, he's even more expendable.

Throw in Namesnikov (sp?) and lose Timashov and the Leafs are looking REALLY good for the playoffs.

Anyone sitting out tonight? I think if Barrie plays, chances are he's not close to being in a trade. No way you would risk an injury to a UFA this late in the season if something worth while was on the table. Injury, out for season, walks for nothing would (frank)ing suck...
