Agreed, but I've been beaten into submission by Botterill liking his players so much that I believe he'll hold on to all his defensemen, Sheary, and Vesey because he wants to sign them to extensions and for the 'playoff push'.

My guess is he'll maybe find a trade partner that will take Frolik at 50% retained, and that'll be it.

Gotta be happy for the Zamboni driver on two fronts. First NHL win and he wasn’t fired for being late for his real job. It was tough as they just wouldn’t buy his excuse. Even though most fans would agree this was entertainment at its best the league as a whole has to be quite embarrassed. We are talking pro hockey here and a guy literally shows up with a lunch box, gets called into play, takes a few warmups and bam, he’s a star in the game.
Great memory for this guy but something the league and especially the Leafs are wanting to forget.
