As disappointed as everyone is to miss the playoffs(not yet mathematically) This team will probably finish 5-6 games over .500.

Not what we wanted but at least we are going in the right direction. A solid off season and this team is in the playoffs.

Honestly though, go back to before the season started. Most had us right where we are. What’s frustrating is us beating the good teams (pens etc) and losing to Detroit, Ottawa etc.

I remember waking up the next morning after our first Superbowl loss, opening my eyes, and saying out loud "OMG we lost the Superbowl". I remember feeling utter despair. I have a feeling that's how many Leaf fans feel like this morning.

I think the next 2-3 games will be more telling. It could go in either direction for the leafs.
