They’ve gotta make a push for the playoffs and get in, this team needs some postseason action. Can’t have a letdown in March, I don’t believe they will though, Miller and Hughes have been so consistent offensively while the other guys are hit and miss with their offensive production.

I said this of the Toffoli trade, it’s “go time”, after poopting the bed for five years they’ve done a good job drafting and adding Miller (the single biggest difference maker) to where they’ve got a decent team. Still being propped up by goaltending too much but the players and the fans deserve some postseason games.

It’s funny, some GM’s get it right, Tallon with Chicago, but then they lose their way. I think there’s so much luck involved when it comes to later draft picks like when Chicago drafted all those great depth guys to build such a strong team.

I just don’t think he can do it again without the same drafting department. They try to recreate the past and just can’t. Bobrovsky got handsomely overpaid and he’s struggling because they don’t play as well defensively in front of him.
