Same poop different day in here. At least guys are consistent. I’m sure that other lunatic will be here shortly.
People are allowed to have a different view point then you. I don’t think you’re wrong because you don’t want to trade. But a good majority feels differently then you and it wouldn’t kill you to at least understand that.
You’re a pretty smart dude, but you have zero humility. - Flyers1218
I've never once stated that people are not allowed to have a different view point than me. If there weren't different viewpoints than there would really be no point to a site like this. Your statement about what I understand is not accurate or logical. I think it's pretty obvious that most want the Flyers to make a move at the deadline. I have not once posted that anyone who wants the Flyers to make a move is wrong. I've posted numerous times that I get and understand that. If you were more informed, you would understand that.
What I don't do is post stuff like don't drink the Hextall kool aid or call people a lunatic. You understand what that is implying when you post that, correct? |

If you must then your sense is not so common. It’s ok for you to move on.
If you wish to keep defending history that shows you’re argument is invalid then ok.
I have no problem telling you your wrong all day long. - bird_dog_pa

Yeah, I don’t either. Devils might move him but I doubt it’s us picking up the phone. |

Nice try but please show us all the trade that the flyers have made during the carnival. You can’t because it hasn’t happened.
So your telling hockey buzz that the Flyers would knowingly trade a player during the carnival. They would send the trade details to the league and have it made official while said player is involved with the carnival.
The same carnival that thier spouse may have been active in planning.
The flyers would pull that player out of an autograph session. Or a shootout game etc and tell them pack your bags we just traded you.
That’s what your implying. We both know that hasn’t happened nor would it happen.
As a fan since the 80’s I can’t recall one instance of a flyers trade being announced during the carnival.
If anyone can enlighten me then please do.
I know it’s hard for you to keep validating a poor argument.
Once again all I’m saying and was proven right today is that the flyers will not make a move during the carnival.
You are arguing that they would make a trade despite a huge organizational event.
They would do that even if they had to pull a player from this event and tell them they’ve been traded.
It’s really up to you to prove this concept is an acceptable practice with the Flyers.
I’m curious to be proven wrong.
Name one instance and I’ll admjt my premise was wrong. |

I don’t get hardly any of these rumors. If they plan to acquire a 4th liner comparable to players we already have just to say they did something, then I would really rather they did absolutely nothing.
Some of the rumors don’t make any sense because of our cap space. Who are we losing???

That is not a valid argument in my opinion. Trades don't happen very often during the season. I assure you that NHL GM's don't consider that they are uprooting a family or how the players spouse might feel if they're traded when deciding to make a deal. There is no reason why it wouldn't happen. Hockey is a business. I already explained to you why the carnival would not stop the team from making a trade during the carnival.
You posted numerous times that Flyers GM's are on the record as saying that they wouldn't make a deal during the carnival. I'm challenging you to provide that evidence. Do so or there is no reason for me to continue this conversation. |

I’m challenging you to name one time it has happened.
You can’t so keep digging a hole. Your the one who posted a disagreement to a initial post so the proof of argument lies with you.

Kovalchuk to the Caps for a 3rd round pick.
Edit: Montreal is retaining 50% of Kovalchuks salary and he only makes 700k.
Fletcher must have something big up his sleeve tomorrow. All the contenders are improving. . |

I have a rock. I call it the anti-Tiger rock. I’ve never been attacked by a Tiger while holding this rock, so I can guarantee it has anti-Tiger properties.

Being that you probably live in North America I’d say that’s a poor investment. Since I don’t plan on jumping into tiger exhibits in my local zoo I’d say no.
Although some might argue that you can’t prove you’ve never been attacked by a tiger while carrying that rock.

Goddamn steal for both teams. Claim him for nothing, get a 3rd a couple months later. Sometimes you just gotta take that chance. |

This is great. I've never been struck by lightning so therefore I know it is not possible for me to be struck by lightning. I go outside during lightning storms with absolutely no fear. |
