Not expecting anything today besides a Vats and maybe Simmonds trade. Hoping to be wrong and more happens, but i feel like its gonna be pretty boring

With nameshinov and pageau traded so far, wonder if that effects the devils

I consider the two trades made already to be huge wins so I'd be pretty ok. I think we should be trading Simmonds for sure, though.

I'd be pretty disappointed. I think Vats and Simmer are all but gone, and with the package Pageau just got, i cant imagine what we'd get for Palmieri. I think Fitz really needs to think long and hard about it, and needs to make these moves

Simmonds needs to go, vats should go unless we sign him to a new contract today, palms can stay unless someone gives a good return.

He's not bad. Carolina has a strong analytics department so if they're making this trade it's because they know he's undervalued right now.

edit: they also clear out four contracts in one transaction meaning they can take on more throughout the day in exchange for just draft picks. It's a really strong move.

Canes really good at prying out players way below their market value and trading away basically nothing in return. Respect a lot of what they do.
