He is one of the few Canucks that has the size to neutralize Chara or another big tough guy.

Don't get me wrong he is not a good fighter but he can wrestle the other player with minimal damage

Not a fan of Barrie but at the right price he could be a good fit with Edler...QH effect could reduce wear and tear if Barrie can carry the puck. Simplifies Edler’s responsibilities significantly.
