If they get a LW for McDavid holy poop they can actually go far.

Khaira can (frank) off.
Nygard can be the 13th man. |

NHL is just so bad with stars man... So is the MLB.
NBA does it right by allowing the biggest stars to be themselves. But they also keep em happy (Harden and the ridiculous amount of foul calls that go his way).
I don't get why obviously penalties don't get called because those players are good. I hate it. |

Nygard > Neal - MaximumBone
Even strength I do agree he is a lot more beneficial.
But you're losing a lot of powerplay scoring with Neal.
However if you could package Neal to lose salary... |

Drai should have learned from McDavid and opted to not pass to Gagner on a 2 vs 1 break away |

I don't think you do lose much PP scoring. Has the PP been noticeably worse since he was removed back in late December (iirc)? Not like he'd be producing much from the 2nd unit, either. Even strength is the more important state of play. |

I honestly keep forgetting that Neal is on the team when I think of potential after TDL line ups

I'd rather him than Chiasson.
But honestly I think Yamamoto should be the net front presence. Guy may be small but he battles and actually knows how to score.
Benson isn't a bad option too.
I think they'll be able to trade Neal at the draft though. |

Not without giving up way too many assets. Just buy him out. Opens up 3.9mil for the next 3 years in space to be put toward a forward that can contribute positively at even strength and the final 3 years of 1.8mil are when all the rest of the buyouts expire. |

Even better idea, damn.
Was skeptical about Holland, but this team looks to be in a good position. |

I'm not saying anything all of you already, but GOD DAMN does McDavid need some legit wingers!!! I know Kassian is suspended, but that left side.
It's actually painful watching him play with and cycle through Gagner, Archibald and Chiasson right now. |

Kapanen for Larsson would help that cause |
