There have been a few other good picks... Getting an NHL D (Mete) in the 4th round who plays in the league at 19. Galchenyuk remains a good pick (I would have preferred Teravainen myself back then), amongst the most productive players of his crop, behind TT and Forsberg. It got the Habs Domi too.
Primeau was a tremendous pick in the 7th round. Fleury, Andrighetto.
Too few, way too few. But it's not all a dumpsterfire.
I have big hopes for KK, Brook, Romanov, Norlinder, Caulfield and Ylonen. - QuebecPride
when you're namedropping Victor Mete and Sven Andrighetto you've lost the argument

i mean how is player development even up for discussion? how many Jordan Weals and Nick Cousins and Nate Thompsons and Ilya Kovalchuks and Xavier Ouellets and Brett Kulaks and Christian Folins and Dale Weises have to be scrounged up from the dumpster before people realize that this team has an issue developing talent?
Nice trade for the Caps lol. The Habs are such a relic. Used to be amazing like 30 years ago, now, no one outside of Quebec gives a $hit. - jimmy mcnaulty

well said. This is Bergy's legacy....yeah some good trades here and there...but the development has been brutal....and this is why we're in year 8 of a 5 year plan and counting.
