Rangers goalie and forward got into a car accident. Thankfully they're both okay!

and because I'm a bad person, I immediately thought of that sign at a Rangers game long ago... "Hey Hextall. Buy a Porsche."

I'm liking the two depth moves so far. I would be happy if no huge deals are made today. Let Patrick recuperate and hopefully slide back into 3C. Trade or sign Lindblom's replacement in the summer.

My local sports radio station was talking about Ewing's sarcoma the other day, and it makes the bones very brittle. It is a blessing to ever be able to play sports again. As Bill as alluded to several times, we should all be focusing on Lindblom healing and living a long healthy life, but the team should focus on his replacement in the offseason. If he makes a return to hockey one day, then more power to him.

Yeah, Thompson is a strange addition. At least we are stocking up on depth.

Is this the forward group now?

G - Coots - Jake
JVR - Hayes - TK
Laughton - Grant - Pitlick
Raffl - Thompson - Farabee

Maybe Thomson is an extra and NAK stays in, but besides a few nice goals NAK hasn't brought THAT much. Curious to see what shakes outs.

They aren't sitting NAK for Thompson. NAK has been really good for a month now.
I'd say Grant is 4C, and Thompson 13th forward.

I honestly couldn't disagree more with your NAK assessment.

He is exactly the kind of player you want on the current flavor of the NHL fourth line..Plays physical with speed and contributes a few goals.

I agree, I really like NAK. I was just trying to think from the coach's perspective instead of me as a fan lol. NAK's minutes have been consistently under 10 which is why I was thinking he might go down.

NAK won't be sent down because he has to go through waivers. My guess is he doesn't clear this time. He's played great for us and has scored some big goals. Imo, he's earned his spot on this roster

Ew, God no! NAK is a much better player than Thompson. I think Bunny goes back to LHV, Grant is the 4C and Thompson is the 13th forward.

Don’t read too much into Grant’s numbers. He’s shooting a career high and unsustainable 17% and he was getting over 14 minutes per game for Anaheim. He’s a decent 4C, solid on the PK, but on a good team in a 4th line role he’s a 10 goal, 20 point player at best. The only reason he was playing as a 3C in Anaheim is because the Ducks blow.

I mean that's still an upgrade over Bunny
