Flyers goin with size, depth, and affordability. It's an upgrade. How much of one is still tbd. Can't argue with some big bodies throwin their weight around, being hard on the forecheck, eating some minutes.

If the plan was to add without subtracting then these 2 deals are as much as I could have imagined. However, I am a little surprised that there wasn’t more AHL deals with the Phantoms since they are somewhat out of the playoff picture.

He's an upgrade to basically anybody's top-6 (maybe no the 2012 Predators).

I called them my Cup favorites back in September depending on a goalie. I stand by that.

In my opinion Scott Laughton for the Flyers is no more a third line center than Derek Grant is for the Ducks.

I’m fine with not making any big deals. We definitely needed more depth but I guess I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t fill a much bigger hole on the third line.
