I don't want to see it... I'd rather Murray for Vlasic... But I agree that's a draft trade... Though I'd love a Vlasic/ Marino for years to come...
- hipcheck_goalie

Vlassic and that contract suck. I would hate that move

Vlasic makes $7M for the next 6 years until he's 38 and his play is already starting to regress. Hard pass.

Trochek will get flipped to MIN and then GMJR get's Staal and Foligno. It's all making sense now.
- YouMeAndDupuis9

Would rather Vinnie get flipped here. Cut out the Minni man.

I absolutely cannot see that happening. Jarry is ahead of Murray on the goalie depth chart and the pens top 4 is essentially set when healthy. Moving Murray in the off-season seems a little better for the team
- drummer829

No way would I do that. That contract is insane.

It is, and it is conditional on them winning the cup this season. But still a 1st and 2nd for a UFA is a lot.

Someone was going to overpay for Pageau which is why I never considered him realistic here.

If Jarry is moved, I’m off the JR train. That would be massively stupid.

I can’t see him messing with the net this late in the year

There's no returns that could change your mind?

I want to keep Jarry...just asking.

The time to get Max Domi was after the 2018 season with Kessel going the other way. Getting him now would be next to impossible.

Penguins dont need a big move. If you get a solid renta llike Marleau for a reasonable price... I would take that as a win.

Roll with what you have, get Marino & Dumo back soon, hopefully Jake is trending to get back around Round 1/Round 2 of the playoffs.

Canes reportedly still looking for a RH Dman with the Hamilton/Pesce injuries.

Seems unlikely between division rivals but they are one of the only teams where trading Schultz may make sense. I would very gladly take Warren Foegele off their hands. Or a 1st round pick that we could flip for something else.

What if the Habs were gonna send Price to the Avs and Jarry was used to get Domi?

I agree. I personally want to keep jarry over mm for the dollars and cents of it, as well if they are equal tenders I like jarrys ability to play the puck. It would take a serious player with term for me to trade jarry.

Flyers going after Nate Thompson. Please take him so we can keep our hopes up for something good today.

I think Murray would carry more value than Jarry. I would prefer to trade Murray from a longer term cap perspective. but if Murray's asking price is coming down for his next contract, I wouldnt be opposed to trading Jarry, though I think it is early in terms of getting a good return for him.

Trading a goalie is an offseason move regardless, but I would be open to trading Jarry for Domi.

Not really. Of course if someone wants to be stupid with an overpay, you let them be stupid.

Dealing Jarry kills any leverage with Murray. Then we’re stuck paying an average tender for 7 years at 7+ million. I honestly believe giving Murray a huge deal closes the window early.

I’m not suggesting Murray for Vlasic. I’m just saying moving Murray in general in the off-season seems like it’d be better off for the team.

Cheap. Won’t break the bank and is a fine 4th line player.

I dont look for anything today to be honest. I am sure GMJR is kicking the tires, but other teams have more to offer than we can pay for a piece of any significance.

I’m hoping for a sneaky lateral move that involves Schultz for a winger.

GENO said Marleau is the most underrated player in the NHL in his opinion. I’m sure he would be glad to see him with us.

Don’t know what to think about Thornton now (if we get Marleau) but he sure is better than Agozzino and whatever we have for the 3rd line C. McCann is scaring me on how bad he’s been playing lately
