I hope they don't shoehorn Ladd into the lineup just because they think they have to. Guy couldn't stay on his (frank)ing feet against the worst team in the league the other night and I don't have much faith that it's going to get much better.

I’m definitely not a Ladd fan, however I think he’s gonna get a chance just my gut feeling. Maybe with Bailey and JGP on a line he can get himself open and use his shot.

Gotta think Bailey is getting a maintenance day and maybe in there for MDC tonight. Either way we were pretty much on as far as the lines.

Gross' tweet said as much. With Bailey in for either MDC or Ladd (like you said...probably MDC as Bailey usually plays the right side) those look like better lines than we've seen in a while. No wingers at C, or grinders in scoring roles, etc.

Technically he was traded to the Leafs, who then retained a portion of his salary, and then traded from TOR to VGK. The Leafs essentially bought themselves a 5th round pick for a couple hundred thousand.
