What the heck they need him for?

I don't know what else we can deal, unless he's either moving only minor leaguers/prospects or someone off the roster. Saw some speculation that another random 1 game callup for Ladd may have been a showcase to prove he can still play in the NHL? No idea, but can't trade anymore picks now that we don't have a 1st or 2nd this year or a 2nd next year.

#Isles are running out of futures to make any other moves, also at 49 contracts with Pageau addition. Still have cap space to add (depth winger?), but would likely need a contract going out.

They've been playing real well lately. I think they've taken 5 of the last 6 and they're only 6pts back of the playoffs. Not really much of an addition....but that's probably the answer as to "why"
