I dont have an issue with the Farabee to AHL move..I was looking at his stats recently and he hasnt been producing which is understandable. I would expect that both he and Frost will be full time NHL players next year. If not then they have regressed a bit.

I really like the Grant move.

Im average at best on the Thompson move but what i take from that is the Flyers expect to make the playoffs this year , they know how heavy the game becomes in the playoffs so they are trying to get bodies that fit that mold. Best I can come up with.

You are getting your wish. Although AV said yesterday that Grant would start out on a wing, the above are tonight's starting lines.

Nick Shore is basically Adam Hall version 2. Grant is a decent pker with over inflated stats mainly due to his way above career avg 17% shooting percentage.

Grant would be fine as the 4C, but he has no business playing as a middle 6 center on a playoff team. Frost should be in that spot.

Frost and Farabee aren't ready for NHL playoff hockey in my opinion. I agree that Grant is not ideal in a 3rd line center spot but he can at least play well away from the puck and in board battles and maybe he continues his hot shooting a little bit.
