They need to just extend the 3v3 and ditch the shootout. The shootout is atrocious.

Yeah, I'm with Chiefs on this one. They just need to expand 3-3. There is almost no chance of someone getting hurt with the amount of open ice. Like the players can't play an extra 5 minutes of 3-3. The shootout is just dumb.

It's the smartest thing the NHL has done in years, by a country-mile

The thing with Zib though was his 1st 2 years were ok. His last 2 years he has finally bought into working hard and being a leader and its pretty impressive. The talent was always there.

I also think that a player should not be able to carry the puck back into their own zone 3v3. Seen way too many cowardly OTs of late, where a team just holds onto the puck till the shootout (looking at you Anaheim).

Who cares? It's insanely fun. It's the best non-player thing to happen to hockey in a long time.
