Not clear to me either. Officiating in the NHL is pretty bad overall.

We have had multiple goals like that disallowed. He so obviously took out Varlamov on purpose I rewatched that multiple times. Blatantly spread eagles himself to make sure he takes him out. They keep crashing Varlamov unimpeded.

There’s nothing odd about a Bruin ramming a goaltender to take him out of position. The goal that deflected 25 feet out in front of Varlamov yeah that’s odd😂

I’m out of town and just saw highlight of that goal. I can’t disagree, first thing that came to mind.
