Don't get me wrong, I'm not sitting around pining for Parise. But Ladd is quite literally dead money. The guy is incapable of playing. If, at worst, they could make it an even-money swap (and not give up Bellows) I'm happy with it. I'd be interested in dangling Bellows for Labanc though - eichiefs9
No I get it but I'm still hoping that Ladd retires or goes to LTIR with his next injury which will happen eventually |

Craig Smith would be an interesting pickup for the 3LW spot, if he doesn't re-sign in Nashville. Shoots the puck a ton. |

If he was/is, MIN should have been/better be eating like half of Parise's contract. Otherwise that's a bad deal. - eichiefs9
Yep! I would have liked Parise but not on those terms and losing Bellows. |

Pageau gives the Isles a badly needed well rounded player. - ses111
Another one .. yes. I loved the trade once he was extended at a cost I am relatively ok with.. giving that much up for a rental would have been a bit upsetting, for a great 2 way center who is young and now signed for 6 years at a $5 mil a year hit is fine by me. |

I wouldn't call myself anti-fighting by any stretch of the imagination...but the day then get rid of it, and that day will absolutely come, I couldn't care less |

He was defenseless because he had his head down. You take that hit out you might as well take out all hitting that doesn't occur along the boards - Vukota
again please see Lindros, Brett, hell add Eric too |

I mentioned it last night that MDW was skating with his head down like Lindros (the both) and one guy you can scroll through to see who said I was wrong and Brett did not retire due to concussions. Also at that point the thread saw the hit as dirty where as I did not and stated if it was revered the thread would have reacted differently. |

What was it like seeing that Eddie Murphy standup back when you were in your 50's? That must've been something. |
