I love coming to this site for a laugh the s@#t that eklund comes up with is absolutely histerical and the stuff he cresits himself for reporting is even funnier I was getting ready to go to sleep sunday night about midnight when sportsnet.ca alerted my phone od the green trade to edm and hockeybuzz has nothing on it when i went to sleep in the morn after check tsn and sportsnet i always look at what ellund has And he still hadnt updated the green trade on the little tracker he has but an hour later when it was finally updated he had him as the source for the trade absolutely great for a chuckle - SHAW
Personally thought Carolina was clearly THE winner. Conversely. What up Florida? Every other team will have to settle for second best loser. Second best loser??? Trocheck almost 53% on faceoffs. Injuries have slowed him down but 75 pts in 17/18.

Won't hear it on TSN or Leafsnet obviously but good on Bergy, he got better offers from weaker teams but chose to do Kovy a solid by sending him to Washington
Kovy talked about how great his time was in Montreal, door is definitely left open for him to resign and with the Tsar stepping in next year it should be a very real possibility that he does
And now a proud member of the Caps bandwagon in the playoffs

Zucker, Marleau, Sheary, Rodrigues is not good? Lol. Better than a broken down Kase and Ritchie. - Barnaby36
Zucker was a great add, I just don't think it should be counted in the TDL day winner thing since he didn't include anyone else from other teams added before the deadline. The other guys are good support, never said bad adds, just in terms of TDL winners I think there's better.
obviously the leafs won, they got calle rosen back for hutchinson, some 30 year old guy called dorito, whatever a miikka salomaki is, a 5th rd pick, 1.1 million of robin lehner's contract to help vegas in the playoffs instead of the leafs and tyson barrie is still on the team. tremendous trade deadline day for leaf fans and the organization as a whole. - ghetto puck
Personally, I'm a little overwhelmed with how obvious it is that we're bringing home the cup this spring
That and he’s a diabolical genius. Every comment, click and emoji, even tho we’re proving him wrong, generates $$$. Good on ya, you filthy animal. I love to hate you. If Carolina doesn’t make the playoffs because of your bad juju, I will hunt you down and throw a snowball straight to your grill. It’s been in my freezer for 2 months. It’s gonna hurt
Can someone answer this question: Can the 1st round pick the Rangers got for Skjei end up being Toronto's 1st next year? Let's say both Toronto and Carolina fall off a cliff and finish 7th and 8th overall. I know Toronto can push the pick to 2021 but can Carolina do that to the Rangers or do we get the pick in this year's draft

carolina will decide before the draft whether they are keeping the leafs pick or their own and the rangers will get the one they don't keep. so it will be a 2020 1st regardless. more than likely they will be keeping the leafs pick because they are sliding down the league standings while the canes are moving up.

The pick will be the lower of the two in 2020.
If Toronto's pick is a top 10 pick, it will be bumped to 2021 and the Rangers will get Carolina's pick regardless of where it falls.
The only question for Carolina is if they have one pick in 2020 and one in 2021 or no picks in 2020 and two in 2021
The Rangers for retaining Kreider for 7 more years & not trading Fast! You can add dumping Skjie's contract along with having 3 picks in the first round next year and 19 picks over the next two years!
