Idk, like 5 minutes of research would yield 10 names better for that price.
Anything he's even remotely okay at right now (like defensive impacts) the Sabres already have in abundance. And all the things he struggles at, the Sabres really struggle at.
It just doesn't make sense to dedicate a roster spot to someone like that.

Might come done to who we lose at the end of the season. Might need him for what he brings . Lets see what he does these small sample size. Always liked him

What he has going in his favor is that we basically dont have any forwards who hit really hard. So if he can score 10 a year and hit, well I'd say he's useful because we dont have that guy. At 2-2.5 mil. Not 5 obviously

Score says 1-1 but Buffalo controlled the first period. With that being said, would love to see Dahlin showcase his offensive pressure the way Makar has shown.
And while I have not been a fan of Okposo’s contract, it’s hard now not to appreciate not only the ability to shut down their opponent but also their ability to forcheck and put the puck in the net of the Girgensins-Larsson-Okposo line.

Agreed with the middle part but it really depends on what they do with vesey larsson and girgensons
I want to see more than a period but its refreshing to see his physicality

I mean, he got decked by vlad namestnikov. These guys are all athletes, capable of laying hits if need be. Didn't Gerbe dust some guy a little while ago? Given the state of the game, spending money specifically for a skillset that goes counter to playing an uptempo high possession game seems like a bigger waste than using it to light a cigar.

He still needs to prove he can chip in offensively. If he can be a catalyst on PP2, while hitting and playing reasonably responsibly and pot 10-12 a year, I think that's worth a couple million for sure. We just dont have anyone like him
And he had some stellar keep ins at the blue line - jcragcrumple
I agree. His vision and play making ability is slick, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him drive the net more and fire a shot “where momma use to hide the cookies”

Most teams don't. With offense such a premium, can't afford to waste cap space on it.
