Bogo fcks is when he’s on the Sabres, fcks is when he’s not. Good thing is TB had 2 more games for Bogo to fck us some more. 2 even strength goals for the laughs (apparently special teams do matter) and Bogos on for both goals against. He’s imon for at least one PP goals against that I saw and is on for 0 of the TB goals for. Wow

Justin Williams has been a pro’s pro for 20 years and his cap hit was never over $4.5 mil (and that was for only his 2 yrs in Washington).

He’s won 3 cups (101 pts in 155 gp).

Has played in 1258 regular season games and has 791 points.

The intangibles he’s brought throughout his career are immeasurable.

Not bad for a guy picked 28th overall in 2000.

Not sure why it's unbelievable. For all their shortcomings, Toronto has an unbelievable amount of firepower. That alone is going to win them multiple games down the stretch.

Justin Williams was smart. By signing team-friendly deals his entire career, he all but assured himself there was going to be a spot for him in the league. Of course, there is a health risk attached to that, but since he got by that, he was never in danger of being bought out and looking for work.

I still can’t figure out why Vanek and/or Pominville weren’t brought in for $1-1.5 mil a piece instead of bringing in Frolik?

Vanek apparently said on the Instigators on Monday that he never intended to play a full season and that he wanted to go to a contender. I don't think he was ever really an option.

I have no idea what the deal with Pominville was, but I am guessing he had a minimum number in mind that was north of $1.5 million. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth it to him.

And it’s hard to believe a contender didn’t want a guy like Vanek for a run IMO.

Also not that he’s anywhere close to the player he was but it looks like Jumbo Joe is done in SJ. Wasn’t thrilled he wasn’t moved at the deadline.

In the right situation, he may have had a very outside shot at 1000 points.

Tampa win would have been nice. I think it was well established that this will not be an easy feat. Gonna have to have our second best run of the year down the stretch against some hungry teams. Should be some good hockey.
