Technically yes, for salary retention purposes only. Very similar to what they did with Pittsburgh and Ottawa in the trade they made to acquire Brassard and Reaves two years ago.

Goalie Linus Ullmark (lower body) did not make the trip out west with the Sabres. Hearing it's about 10 more days before he's ready.
Since Ullmark went down, Carter Hutton is 6-3 with a .907 save percentage. Jonas Johansson is 1-1-1 with a .910.

Dominik Kahun says after playing wing for two NHL seasons, it would take time to get used to playing center. But he’d be fine trying if needed at some point.
He played with Ralph Krueger’s son over in Germany, so Ralph knows Kahun’s skill set down middle.

Was not aware Krueger had a kid that played. Has to be why they targeted Kahun, right? Must know he can play the center role here.

Heard that they wanted him to get a regular practice in. Not injury related.
