That's fine - and to be clear - that goal is not on Andersen. It's a missed clear by Kapanen, and then Sandin got caught high.
My comments were more as a general observation. Many of the goals that beat Andersen are not his fault. But sometimes the momentum that leads to the goals that beat Andersen is something he can but doesn't control. - Monkeypunk
For sure he’s not perfect, I just think his sv% has taken a walloping due to our d being injured and sucking at times
Anyways, hopefully my feed comes back on....it seems to have frozen. |

Wonder if we tried to snag Thorton at the deadline. He would look so much better over Kerfoot as our 3C. |

I can't see that being deliberate. A disproportionate number of shots hit him and he doesn't cover or move to cover the puck. I think he's losing the puck more. Maybe he has different equipment and isn't used to the puck movement off of it, but he should be after several months. A disproportionate number of shots enter and exit his glove.
I wish I had those types of numbers, because that's where I'm not happy with Andersen this year - he is not managing his rebounds (ie, when to freeze, where to direct them, and most importantly actually catching them).
Garnie thinks he has a good glove hand, so perhaps it's me, but I've always thought his glove was below average, and this year it seems worse. - Monkeypunk
One thing I have noticed with Andersen this year is when the pass goes across from his blocker side to his glove side and the shot is taken. He flops forward like a belly flop with only his glove raised. But if its the opposite, he slides across upright and stays in the play.

TBL should've sold at the deadline. |
