I mean, it's been clear for forever to everyone here you've never played the game and know a shockingly small amount about it despite how much online time you spend - to each his own - but it's pretty funny you think that.

He wasn't even that good. His rebound control was awful and he was off twice in positioning and lucked into a Tampa player putting it right into his pads. But he did his job, which is what goalies are supposed to do.

The Leafs D was better. I know you will never accept this cause the narrative needs to pushed even when they play above their weight - like tonight - but it's true.

They seem to like doing whatever they can to draw attention, like their end game celebrations (last year I think?). Their management group probably just wants to do whatever they can to draw in more fans and by being fun or making a big deal out of this rather unusual situation helps, then that's what they'll do. It's a nice story, so whatever.

If they shut them down defensively, wouldn't Tampa have less shots against the leafs in the 3rd? Just because they play defensive doesn't mean they shouldn't put up more than 3 shots. It's a problem they need to fix.
