From excitement, nervous energy, euphoric optimism, to zero hope in a nano-second. There isn't a Flyers fan alive who thought they'd win that game after that happened. And if they say they did, they're lying.

I honestly feel like you just nailed all the emotions everyone felt for that game.
I think I literally went through that exact lineup of facial expressions when I think back to it.

Any player who played in the NHL is or at least should be considered a good player. All of those players played in more than one NHL season

Whatever dude, just answer my question the way I asked it.

Remind them that the Leafs haven't been to the Cup Finals -- let alone won the Cup -- since the 1967 expansion from 6 to 12 teams. Flyers have been to the finals 8 times (won twice,).

Haha. Thanks Bill. This fact is always an arrow in my quiver as well! đź‘Ť

I have to say I really disliked Daigle as a player. The guy had tons of talent but seemed not be interested enough to apply himself.
I’m going to put as much effort into looking up who he was traded for as he put into hockey.

Simmonds is playing on the best offensive team he could get on since being here. Nashville was weak offensively last year. The Devils are the Devils.

The flyers got Kovalenko by trading Daigle

The Flyers sent Falloon, Prospal and a second rounder #58 in return for Daigle.

Eichel is the new sundin. Great player one of the best in the league perpetually surrounded by garbage

Playing with Skinner, guy that likes to shoot, probably really good for Simmonds, just get to the net

Name a good player or a half decent player but not perfect who once wore a Flyers uniform that you didn’t care for.

Go!

- SuperSchennBros

This was a tough one for me. I just couldn’t settle on how to answer it. Should it be guys who I put on my trade list? For a hundred different reasons—fit, depth, role...No?Should it be guys who disappointed me by not meeting their potential? Playing style or personality that I didn’t like?

Finally I decided that it’s really just what you asked...a good player who I didn’t care for as a Flyer. Which maybe you might find interesting considering the current Flyers.

So I didn’t care for them wearing a Flyers uniform...there were probably others but these came to mind

Aaron Asham
Michael Del Zotto

Ironically, I like all the current Flyers. They are special.

Like I said, Buffalo is a really good fit for Simmer.

Big compliment to Laughts, who is on the Keep List.

Second most devastating moment in my career as a Flyers fan. First was him getting traded. My least favorite season overall, even though we were still good, was when Lindros sat all year.
- SuperSchennBros

That 2000 ECF still haunts me. They had a 3-1 series lead and couldn’t get it done. Shame of it was I really thought they had a better than 50/50 chance to beat the Stars in the Finals.

Del Zotto I can see. Aaron Asham is interesting. Than again, someone brought up Lindros I understood. Why Asham though? I actually thought Aaron Ashamwas underrated here.

I don’t think Simmonds can be judged by playing for Nashville and New Jersey. Those are two bad offensive teams. I wouldn’t say we were great last season either.
