I knew that was from 79 but didn't know the exact date. I'm sure most of us know this but in reality even Nilsson said it wasn't a dirty hit that Potvin laid into him. 41 years and counting I don't think the "whistle" will ever die, amazing people do it now who really don't even know the story behind or even were born when Potvin was still playing. - B2B76
I wasn't born yet, found out the story, and I will always try to keep the chant alive

Man today is a sad day, putting down my almost 18 year old cat today...hope the Rangers help out with a win later - TPC
Sorry man, I know pets are our world. Every Saturday morning, I take the one dog out for a ride, stop at dunkin, and give her a small piece of a glazed donut. Just drive around for about an hour and just zone out while sipping coffee. I tell people I can't do anything Saturday until that happens first thing in the morning.
While losing a pet sucks royally, the only redeeming part is you can give another one a chance to get into your life.

Back early in the season when we all assumed this season wasn't going to lead to much, we had a huge comeback vs Montreal

D Q referenced it in interview with press ,saying how playing not bad got us down 4 zip, never quit ... yada yada yada ....players have been bought in since ..
Bench mark for the season ... the rally point so to speak
Not bad for a guy we shouldn’t have signed - nyrangers9479
Kudos for him, but this team is still flawed. The first 2 lines are playing over their heads ,all are having a career year. No secondary scoring to speak of and defensively giving up way to many scoring chances. If it wasnt for the fact that our goal tending is top 5 in the league, we wouldnt even be talking about the playoffs.
We are one slump away from falling out. Stromes line must continue their pace or we will be out of the race.

Honestly I thought about it (just to lighten the mood) but even I won't go there. Pets are family to many people and I don't joke about that. - JRR1285

I mean every team we are battling with has some type of flaw, that is why we are all battling for a wild card spot and not chasing the conference title. Also why is it bad the best players on the team are carrying the team? Isn't that why they are paid the way they are? And I don't understand why having great goaltending is seen as such a negative by you. Not every part of every team is going to be perfect. A lot of teams that have one cups have had hot goalies carry them.
