I mean every team we are battling with has some type of flaw, that is why we are all battling for a wild card spot and not chasing the conference title. Also why is it bad the best players on the team are carrying the team? Isn't that why they are paid the way they are? And I don't understand why having great goaltending is seen as such a negative by you. Not every part of every team is going to be perfect. Because as a team in transition, we have done it really quickly. There really hasnt been any learning curve. I dont want to wind up like the Devils or Oilers from a few years ago.
Panarin, Strome, CK20 and Mika are all having career years and are playing way above expectations. Sooner or later they slump (Maybe) and if the bottom 6 cant produce, you wont win games. Im waiting for CK20 to do his disappearing act the last 20 games of the season.

Yes you want your goalie to be able to steal that odd game when the team is on a back to back or just having a down night but to have then face 35+ shots a night on a regular basis wears them down over the course of the season. The object is to limit shots, not have your goalie have the title of most saves in a season.
Playoff success is determined by how good your bottom 6 are. The first 2 lines usually cancel each other out and its the third and forth lines that win the big games. Our bottom 6 isnt producing, yet again their average age is 20 so they will grow.
Kudos for him, but this team is still flawed. The first 2 lines are playing over their heads ,all are having a career year. No secondary scoring to speak of and defensively giving up way to many scoring chances. If it wasnt for the fact that our goal tending is top 5 in the league, we wouldnt even be talking about the playoffs.

It just seems like your expectations are unrealistic. You want them to build this perfect team that all 4 line are scoring and putting up numbers and also a team that is one of top defensively that limit shots. You may never find what you are looking for honestly.

So not true. The team is over achieving. No one can say any different. I would like to have seen steady improvement not 0-60 in 4 seconds!!
Balanced scoring and better defensive play exists. I think this team will have it in 2-3 years.
