I actually mentioned the Gomez, Drury signings in my best man speech for TJ at his wedding, they had just happened

WOW, been searching for this game forever, finally someone uploaded it, the end of the Coliseum hex after almost 5 years of being winless at the Coliseum. Zubov with the famous game winner and going down on his knees in celebration. Crystal clear quality.

So we were both married in July 07 and both didn't work out just like Drury & Gomez.

That goal last night by Panarin, and pass by Fox, reminded me of Leetch goal on game 7 vs Nucks. I forget who made the pass to Leetch, maybe messier? Maybe someone can embed both goals (if that’s what it’s called lol)

love some of the passing I'm seeing by the Rangers. Panarin has looked amazing, have to say, I was not a fan of the signing due to the salary, but, wow, has changed my mind!

It's the same way the Isles play defense. Keep the puck on the perimeter, nothing crosses the royal road.

When the F*** did that phrase start? I've never heard it before this season started.

Looks like Alex Georgiev will start tomorrow in Montreal. He’s the first goalie off the ice. #NYR

It's been around for awhile, but it's not really worked into broadcasts too often. Good article on it here:

Didn't we have this debate a couple months ago? I pointed out sometimes the I hate sports girl is better than the I love sports girl. Simple reason being that the I love sports girl is cool to hang out and watch games with until she wants to join your fantasy leagues and come to viewing parties with you.

I don't know how the "we do everything together" couples do it. I want to have my own distinctive things, though that might explain why I'm a nearing 40 single guy like you guys

Well to be fair, me being a sports junkie was just 1 little thing haha, I used to just wish she would acknowledge why I loved it and it had been with me since childhood instead of just making a joke of it always & try to make me feel stupid & small for caring about it...see this is like a therapy session now

That's the scheme though. Play a tight box ( ) to cover the cross ice passes down low. You do this at the cost of giving up space to the points. I'm actually a fan of this coverage. If you play good man defense and clear the traffic in front, your goalie should be able to stop shots from that far away. I think Vally even covered this during the pregame show and said the Rangers were one of the best in the league at eliminating the cross ice passes because of this scheme.
- Bean_Dip

Yeah I get that they are willing to give up the perimeter shots, but there has to be a little bit of a happy medium I think. The zone time in their own zone this season is way to long . Would like to see them either challenge the puck carrrier a little more, or once the other team is in the zone, somehow get more pressure to the point.

You just have to find a girl who loves the Rangers but hates everything else about sports

I think the Capitals guys are the worst. I don't understand how more people don't complain about them, they're atrocious.

Also, the clowns in Buffalo. I'm ok with a little annoyance, as long as there is a bit of parity. When you listen to Butch Goring every opposing goal is "lucky" and everything is a missed call. I wish more broadcasters didn't feel the need to stress their favorite team on every call. Good plays and missed calls CAN happen on both ends of the ice.

I hate homer broadcasting, hate when my teams get it all the same. Marty Lyons with the Jets on radio is like that. I get the ex player whose doing color will always be a tad homerish for his team but when it blatant bias and feeding the audience nothing but BS & just pumping up his team and giving no credit to the opposition it's so irritating.
