I think you mean Nelson. Leddy chased down Panarin and stopped him from having a breakaway. Nelson completely forgot about picking up the trailer.

Nelson was completely out to lunch on the play. It's the first thing I noticed when it happened. Watching the replay, it looks even worse. 2 guys were on Panarin. Turn around and get center position. My kid does that in PeeWee for cripes sake. Awful awareness. Leddy was fine on the play IMO.

A rare brainfart for him. He's no Bergeron, but he's pretty defensively sound. I think they just panicked a bit after the turnover and he got lost in the moment. He's still been arguably the Isles most valuable player this season.

Everyone has bad plays, some more than others, but I'm sure he bought beers last night and they'll move on.

its electric ,the buzz on this teams game & where it can go, Ek & his predicts are
just funny & make no sense , 3rd & 4th lines are contributing big time , with Buchny back thur ? whos sitting ,guys who score usually dont ,Gauthier is from area & is pumped to play in Mont.so he aint sitting ,Lemeaux aint ,hard choice is a very good sign ..Diguiseppe ?

Your right, Mess dropped a nice back pass for Zubie who then fed Leetch. So we got that straight.

The Islanders have actually been mostly lights out in OT this year. Beau turning that puck over was unfortunate and it led to them missing out on the 2nd point. Beau and Nelson have combined on nearly every OT winner this year, too. poop happens I guess.

Beauvillier and Pageau are ridiculous ranger killers

I was thinking that too

or maybe just keep playing Georgiev

not way do I think Hank's first game in forever will be in his own personal house of horrors in Montreal

I hate that building, but remember when we beat em in 6 in the playoffs that year?

Just have our new 6.5 million dollar winger slide into their goalie

So we were both married in July 07 and both didn't work out just like Drury & Gomez.

I forget what year, but that was epic when they were down 5-0 (I think) up there and won 6-5

That was earlier this year TJ

Unless you mean that time Montreal came back on us from a 5-0 deficit, that was 2008

OMG!!

With all of us Ranger fans here, how could we have missed that Trouba's hit last night was on the anniversary of the infamous Dennis Potvin hit on Ulf Nilsson?

The "Potvin Sucks" chant started with the hit on February 25, 1979!!

I knew that was from 79 but didn't know the exact date. I'm sure most of us know this but in reality even Nilsson said it wasn't a dirty hit that Potvin laid into him. 41 years and counting I don't think the "whistle" will ever die, amazing people do it now who really don't even know the story behind or even were born when Potvin was still playing.

I THINK IT WAS Mike Komisarek who laid a brutal hit into someone that night that should have been a major and nothing was called, just a horrible game but we got even eventually.

Back early in the season when we all assumed this season wasn't going to lead to much, we had a huge comeback vs Montreal

I wonder if Panarin can win the MVP. You figure Draisitl and McJesus should cancel each other out. Pastranak would be next I think, or maybe MacKinnon or Ovechkin...I think he’s the pick tho. Rangers would be the redwings without him

If Rangers make the playoffs and he finishes top 3 in scoring I think he has a great shot of being MVP

If the Rangers make the playoffs, he has a good shot at winning the Hart. Id say 80 percent.
