female dog and complain even after a solid win by a team with only 1NHL defenseman?
- bobbyisno1

It's the Leafy thing to do..

Leafs won. They controlled the game and outplayed Florida... So, let's focus on the negatives.

About time we turn on the best goalie we've had since Belfour. Woo! Nobody is safe!
- AdamFrench

He is the best goalie we've had since Belfour. He's also having an off-year.

Matthews is the best centre we've had since Sundin. We're still allowed to note that he makes mistakes.

Marner is the best setup guy we've had since Gilmour. We can note when he doesn't put in the effort or doesn't pay attention to detail.

Marincin is the worst defenseman we've had since . . well, the point is we can note when he does something good. I mean, we haven't, but we could. And that's something.

both yes and no... of course.

Leafs did win... probably not the "right way" however.

so it was a 1.9point victory in the standings

- BorjeFan4Ever

I think it comes across as negative because there's still a lot to work on for the Leafs. They won against Florida and Tampa in Florida and that's awesome. But after what happened in Carolina, Pittsburgh and Buffalo, I think we're allowed to be tentative before we heap the praise on the team.

Total cap hit for all defenseman last night was probably like 8 million.

We have no business winning with the amount of plugs we have on defense right now...But killjoys gonna killjoy.

Let's see.... 5-6 years.... or at least buying a few ufa years..... considering his performance + potential..... now you add up the obvious Leafs overpay.... and you get......

3.75M per year for 5 years!
